The project PREVENTION THROUGH AWARENESS ACF/349 is implemented by the Intelday Foundation, in partnership with Perceptica Ltd. and M-Brain AS, Norway, with financial support of EUR 61,500 provided by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway under the EEA Financial Mechanism.
The topic of Domestic Violence and Gender-Based Violence (DVGBV) is gaining popularity, and awareness of the need to make informed decisions leads to a search for more up-to-date and comprehensive information. The purpose of this project is to research media coverage of DVGBV in Bulgaria and Norway by identifying relevant media sources for information retrieval and analysing data - enriching the data on the topic and demonstrating the role of the media in shaping it.
Research and policy alignment
Under the project, a study will be carried out on media coverage of DVGBV, enriching the information in line with Specific objective 1 of Thematic Priority No. 4: Increasing the contribution of civil society organisations to gender equality and preventing gender-based violence.
A communication campaign will also be undertaken to involve various stakeholders in the analysis of the results and to disseminate them - covering specific objective 3.
