The initiative was organised by the Association of European Journalists.

A media literacy coalition led by the Association of European Journalists (AEJ) invited journalism students and journalists to join a practical training on recognising fake news and misinformation. The training focused on giving attendees valuable skills, knowledge and the tools for fact checking needed in today's media industry.

The session was led by Perceptica experts as part of the "Days of media literacy 2019" campaign, with a special focus on "Fact checking". It was conducted over a full day on 9 February at The Red House Centre for Culture and Debate in Sofia.
