Perceptica and AEJ teach students to recognise fake news
The initiative was organised by the Association of European Journalists.
A media literacy coalition lead by the Association of European Journalists (AEJ) invited journalism students and journalists to join a practical training on recognising fake news and misinformation. The training was focused at giving attendees valuable skills, knowledge and the tools for fact checking, necessary for working in today’s media industry.
The training was lead by Perceptica experts and is a part of the “Days of media literacy 2019” campaign, with a special focus on “Fact checking”. The training was conducted over one whole day on 9 Fberuary at The Red House Centre for Cuture and Debate in Sofia.
